Update
Feb 20, 2007
This is my third time that I have seen "Legends in Concert"
VegasDuSoleil.com staff and I have VOTED
Matt
Lewis
NUMBER ONE for the BEST Elvis Artist!
Not only the King Online, but the King of Legends in Concert and the King Of Las Vegas. Matt Lewis is a wonderful entertainer and that's all he does, he's not trying to be Elvis. Matt knows that no one on this earth could ever replace Elvis. But he sure does one heck of a job keeping the memories alive...
I have seen many Elvis Artists and all I see is the 'Wanna Be Elvis" where in Matt I see his talent and not only does he sing like Elvis, he sure does sound like him... Matt is so nice and so kind and when he was greeting his guests after the show, everybody was walking up to him and getting their picture taken with him, shaking their hands, hugging some of the guests and he just was so kind and not stuck up like some of the others. I was glad to see this from Matt. He was just having a great time entertaining the people!!! You could see that he was just as happy to see he was making the people happy...
Matt is an actor and I am putting up some links so you can learn more about Matt Lews.
Check out an upcoming film that Matt Lewis is starring in called Tears Of A King, set to be in theaters this summer. Also check out video clips from Atomic City, another film that Matt Lewis starred in...
Exciting entertainers that performed in "Legends in Concert" were, Elton John, Janet Jackson and Marilyn Monroe.
Once again, I highly recommend the show to people of all ages. This show is well worth your money....
You should be stay at Imperial Palace, they have the best comp to offer one on the strip, towards, food, shows, gifts, room stay and more.. Tell them Amy Hollon from VegasDuSoleil.com referred you to them....
Thank you very much. This was the best birthday present ever ....

Legends in Concert Review
June, 17, 2006
Legends in
Concert in it’s 24th year, at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino
is the 3rd longest running show in Las Vegas and is still going
strong. The Imperial Theater is perfect for the variety of
performances. Patrons can
appreciate close-up without giving up the larger stage.
All seating is assigned in the showroom, furnished with both table
seating and booths. Restrooms at
the Imperial Theater are conveniently located just “outside the entrance
door”. Ideal just in case anyone
(especially children) need to use the facilities during the show.
Legends in
Concert, entertains the audience with impersonators who offer fresh attempts to
look and sing like various famous artists.
I had the pleasure to enjoy a performer who impersonated Jay Leno and entertained the audience with both his look-a-like
physical appearance and comical skits. Next
was the Madonna impersonator with
sound-a-like vocal cords performing Material Girl, Argentina, and many other
famous Madonna recordings. The show
continued with performances by Prince (no other comment but fabulous)!!!!
The very famous group of the 60’s, The
Temptations, followed and were my favorite with all the great Motown sounds.
Performing Just My Imagination, My Girl, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, and
other great recordings all sung while dancing the famous smooth dance
choreographies that help bring fame to the actual Temptations. The grand finale
was made up of all the entertainers returning to perform the evening’s final
group performance. However, prior
to the finale, no show in Vegas would be complete without the famous Elvis
impersonator in his sparkling white jump suit.
Elvis belted out famous Elvis recordings including the patriotic song Oh
Beautiful and Dixieland. But he
chose to end his performance with the appropriate Viva Las Vegas, the ever popular recording make famous and
performed in his movie with Ann Margaret, Viva Las Vegas.
I highly
recommend the show to people of all ages, visiting Las Vegas, who are looking
for fun and an evening of great entertainment at reasonable cost.
Showtime is 7:30pm and 10pm, Mondays through Saturdays in the Imperial
Theater at Imperial Palace, 3535, Las Vegas Blvd. South.
Admission price includes one drink, dinner packages available
(702-794-3261).
